Mr. Bayer is responsible for the origination, evaluation, and execution of investments as well as ongoing portfolio management activities. He serves as a board member of Excelin Heath, Best Lighting, Ultimate Toys and is on the Renegade deal team. Mr. Bayer holds a wide range of experience across private equity, capital markets, investment banking and corporate development.

Prior to joining Corinthian Capital in 2022, he was a Vice President at AMERRA Capital, a global food & agribusiness-focused private equity firm.  Mr. Bayer’s professional experience also includes investing roles with manufacturing-oriented private equity firms Graham Partners and AFI Partners, in addition to experience in corporate development with a large non-profit healthcare payer. He began his private equity investing career with L Catterton, a leading global consumer and retail-focused private equity firm.

Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment banker at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup, where he advised companies on M&A transactions and financing activities across different sectors.

Mr. Bayer graduated with honors from Boston College, having received a B.S. in Management with concentration in Finance and a Minor in Physics.  He also received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with a double major in Finance and Real Estate.
